Welcome! This comm is for all things Nintama / RKRN related! Any and all things related to this franchise (anime, manga, ninmyu, AUs, etc.) are welcomed to be posted here.

Like it says above, tagging posts is not required but it is encouraged for searchability! To help with that, tags will be broken up into general categories so it’s easier to browse on the comm’s tag page.

• Type - (EX: Type: fanwork, Type: meta, Type: discussion, ETC.) This is for what the post itself is.
• Character - (EX: Character: Tairano Takiyashamaru) For any characters a post is about.
• Ship - (EX: Ship: RiDoi) For any ships featured in a post.
• Canon - (EX: Canon: anime) For posts about a specific canon.
  
• Misc - (EX: Misc: tsudoi) For any other miscellaneous items.

Because there’s a lot that’s covered here, all members of the comm are free to create new tags! Don’t worry too much about formatting or such when tagging, I’ll be going through and fixing formatting / merging any duplicates as they occur. Please excuse the intrusion…! (And if you need any help with it, or you think I’ve merged the wrong tags, please let me know!)

Sorry if this seems super nitpicky! But in fandom it's spelled "canon" rather than "cannon."

Also, what's the difference between meta and discussion? I'm guessing discussion refers to posts which are about starting a discussion (like asking a question).

Thank you for pointing that out!! I was looking over this thinking "I'm pretty sure something's been misspelled, but I can't can't tell what exactly..."

And yes the distinction is pretty much what you said! In my eyes meta tends to be more of a write up on something while discussions are more about asking questions or focused more on talking to other people. But of course these names and categories can be subject to change here, I'm just throwing spaghetti at the wall at this point!
